Bookstore Return Policy

Full refunds and exchanges are accepted 14 days from the date of purchase on items in saleable condition with a receipt.

Tech Center Returns:

Electronics such as computers or laptops must be unopened, unless an item was defective upon first use, and must meet the approval of our computer service team.

Textbook Returns:

Fall and Spring semester books may be returned for a full refund within the first 7 days of the start of the semester. Books must be in original condition and accompanied by the sales receipt. The deadline will be posted in the bookstore and on our website.

Textbooks purchased after the start of each semester or for the Summer or May term must be returned within 3 days.

Academic Materials Program Returns:

Opting out of the AMP course materials program is available from the week before classes start until the add/drop period of each semester.

To opt out of the program, go into one of your classes on Brightspace. Click on “Tools” in the navbar at the top. Click on AMP/Inclusive Access in the drop-down menu that appears. It will bring you to the page where you can see all your assigned course materials. At the top right of that page, click on the button that says “opt out”. Once you click on that button, you will be refunded to your student account for the AMP course material.  You will lose access to all eBooks and courseware you were assigned for the semester.  Any print books you already picked up before opting out will need to be returned to avoid being charged a replacement fee.
